7-String Angel Vivaldi Signature for virtuoso hands
The Charvel Angel Vivaldi Signature Pro-Mod DK24 GT7 HH Nova-7 fulfils the playing requirements of the virtuoso US guitarist in the form of a modern seven-string Dinky. Its caramelised limewood body features a stylish riegelahorn top with three-layer binding and a contoured neck joint for the freest possible access to the higher registers. The bolt-on neck, crafted from caramelised maple, has been shaped to Vivaldi’s specifications and further stabilised with graphite rods. It also features a satin-finished neck back, a maple fingerboard with a 12"-16" compound radius, rounded fingerboard edges and 24 jumbo frets, as well as Luminlay side dots. Despite having seven strings, Charvel has retained the familiar 25.5"-scale length, whilst the reverse headstock ensures a distinctive look and appropriate string tension.
For its electric tone, the Nova-7 relies on a tried-and-tested DiMarzio combination. A DiMarzio The Tone Zone 7 at the bridge delivers a full, overtone-rich character, whilst the Air Norton 7 in the neck position provides warm lead sounds and clear articulation. The 5-way blade switch allows you to select not only the two humbuckers but also additional combinations, such as the two inner coils or the neck pickup wired in parallel. For extensive tremolo techniques, the Angel Vivaldi Signature is also fitted with a recessed Gotoh GE1996T-7 double-locking tremolo complete with a locking saddle. Finally, gold hardware and pickup covers add the perfect finishing touches to the natural satin finish, lending this technically oriented signature guitar a suitably elegant appearance.
