Humbucker in single-coil format

As one of the first ‘stacked’ humbuckers in single-coil format available at the time, the DiMarzio DP116 HS-2 has been delivering noise-free Strat sounds in all positions since the early 1980s. It clearly focuses on a natural tone which, in contrast to the typical humbucker sound, offers additional treble presence and clarity. Thanks to its four-core connection cable, the HS-2 can be used in single-coil mode for more traditional vintage sounds, whilst the humbucker mode is ideal for clean high-gain sounds.
