Steel handpan from Fame with bottom notes

The Fame Custom Handpan Silver Chakra is a noble handpan made of steel in the Silver Chakra Finish with an attractive engraving. It has twelve notes and produces a balanced and powerful tone at 440 Hz. The Fame handpan is played with the fingers by striking the differently tuned playing surfaces. The diameter of the handpan is 22" (55 cm), so it can be played comfortably on the lap. The D-curve of the Fame handpan comes with the following notes: D3/A/BB3/C4/D/E/F/G/A/C5//F3/G3. The last two notes, i.e. F3 and G3, come as bottom notes, i.e. they are located on the underside of the handpan shell. This allows for a creative playing style. The meditative, calming tone can be used for therapeutic purposes as well as for meditation. A bag is included in the scope of delivery.

Custom handpan from Fame in 440 Hz

The central fundamental tone is in the middle of the handpan, surrounded in a circle by a choir of sound fields. The individual playing surfaces are under pressure and are tuned by hand to 440 Hz; if the sound fields are struck briefly with the finger, the entire handpan is set in vibration and a linear, spherical tone with singing sustain is produced. This model has two additional bottom notes on the underside.

Quality-tested in specialist production

Every Fame handpan is checked for workmanship and sound quality by experienced handpan experts at the production facility. As these are handmade instruments, there may be slight colour deviations from the product image.

Learn to play the handpan easily

The technique of playing a handpan is comparatively simple to learn: the playing surface is struck briefly with the fingertip, the faster the hand is then pulled away, the more beautiful the sound produced.
