These features once made the Mustang an accessible Fender model and continue to delight players today who value authentic specifications and the characteristic playing feel of the original. An alder body, a maple neck with an authentic mid-’60s C-profile and a rosewood fingerboard with a classic 7.25"-radius are closely modelled on the historic original. The two vintage-style mid-’60s single-coil pickups deliver the classic Mustang sound with brilliant response, warm mids and clear highs, whilst the characteristic Mustang floating tremolo provides subtle vibrato effects and the unmistakable charm of the original.
