Design and Sound

The Furch Blue Gc-CM a VTC is a Grand Auditorium guitar, whose medium-sized body shape ensures comfortable handling. Its compact body produces a balanced tone, which is complemented by the solid cedar top to add a warm quality with complex overtones. Thanks to the open-pore finish, the guitar not only has an attractive appearance but also boasts a lively, responsive dynamic range that really brings out the best in the sound.

The body shape, neck profile, nut width and cutaway ensure comfortable handling.

Playability

Designed for maximum playing comfort, this acoustic guitar features user-friendly characteristics. Thanks to its design and the soft ‘V’ neck profile, it sits comfortably in the hand, whilst the 45 mm wide nut offers both flat-pickers and finger-pickers the ideal opportunity to really let loose. To ensure that even the higher frets can be reached with ease, the instrument features a cutaway that facilitates access to these areas. These features make even long gigs, studio sessions and jam sessions extremely enjoyable.

The L.R.Baggs VTC Pickup gives the Furch Blue Gc-CM a VTC excellent stage performance and makes it an ideal choice for studio recordings too. Consequently, it captures the vibrations of the strings perfectly and conveys every nuance of the guitar’s original sound, allowing it to be amplified in all its splendour. Furthermore, the system enables, via a discreet control in the soundhole allows the volume and tone to be individually adjusted to suit the ambient conditions and the player’s tonal preferences.
