Humbucker for the neck position with Alnico 5 magnets
The Gibson T-Type humbucker is considered the iconic voice of the Gibson Norlin era and was used for over a decade in Gibson instruments from the late sixties to the end of the seventies. Unlike its predecessors, the T-Type humbucker combines coils wound evenly with Polysol winding wire with the classic warmth of the Alnico 5 magnet to produce its uniquely clear and dynamic Vintage-Sound. Both coils are not waxed and are connected via a two-conductor connection cable.
