Gretsch has opted for a mahogany body with resonance chambers and a maple top, whilst the glued-in mahogany neck features an ebony fingerboard. Two Gretsch Broad’Tron BT-65 pickups promise a harmonious, rich sound with that typical Gretsch character when plugged into an amplifier. Last but not least, the Gretsch G6228TG Players Edition Jet features an Adjusto-Matic bridge with a Bigsby B-7 string-through vibrato and precise Gotoh tuning machines.

For the construction of the Gretsch G6228TG Players Edition Jet, Gretsch has opted for a mahogany body, whose generous resonance chambers characterise the tone with a rich mid-range and a balanced attack. The chambers are also topped by a laminated maple top. The glued mahogany neck, with its ‘Standard U’ profile, also offers optimal playability across the entire ebony fingerboard.
Two Gretsch Broad’Tron BT-65 humbuckers deliver first-class blues and rock sounds through the guitar amplifier, whilst the Gretsch circuitry provides a wide range of tonal colours.

The Gretsch G6228TG Players Edition Jet BT Bigsby Gold Hardware Cadillac Green is equipped with two Gretsch Broad’Tron BT-65 humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Developed by legendary pickup designer Tim Shaw, these pickups impress with a broad sound profile that, featuring deep bass, pronounced mids and a finely nuanced treble spectrum, provides the ideal foundation for blues and rock sounds. With the help of the Gretsch circuitry, which includes individual volume controls for each pickup as well as general tone and volume potentiometers, a wide range of tonal colours can also be achieved.
Six Gotoh locking tuners on the headstock of the Gretsch G6228TG guarantee stable and precise tuning.
