JEM7V White

The Ibanez JEM7V is a 6-string electric guitar and a signature model for Steve Vai.

The Ibanez JEM7V celebrates the long association that Steve Vai has had with Ibanez, and has been built to Steve's exact specifications, featuring a contoured alder body with the famous 'monkey-grip' cut-out. The five-piece JEM Prestige maple and walnut neck is topped by a rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets, decorated with pearl and abalone 'tree of life' vine inlays.

In the electronics department, the Ibanez JEM7V is equipped with DiMarzio Evolution DP158 and DP159 humbucker pickups and a DiMarzio Evolution DPS1 single-coil pickup set up in an HSH formation. There are Master Volume and Master Tone controls, as well as a 5-way pickup selector switch, giving access to the great variety of tones on offer.

The JEM7V is fitted with a locking nut and an Edge tremolo featuring locking studs for stable tuning. The JEM7V has gold hardware, is finished in Steve Vai's favourite white colour and comes with an Ibanez hard case.
