The Ibanez RGR Prestige Weathered Black offers the tried-and-tested high-performance features of the RG series in a high-quality, Made-in-Japan model with a fixed bridge. The ash body is paired with a five-strip maple/walnut neck in the particularly slim Super Wizard HP profile, whose dimensions of just 17 mm at the first fret and 19 mm at the twelfth fret create the ideal conditions for fast runs and technically demanding playing. The bound rosewood fingerboard features a shallow 430 mm radius, 24 jumbo frets with Prestige Fret Edge Treatment and classic white dot inlays. For signal conversion, Ibanez relies on the tried-and-tested combination of a DiMarzio Air Norton at the neck and a Tone Zone at the bridge, which can be flexibly routed via volume, tone and a 5-way blade switch. A Gibraltar Standard III bridge, Gotoh MG-T locking tuners and a Graph Tech BLACK TUSQ XL nut complete the specification, whilst the satin Weathered Black finish gives this Japanese Prestige guitar a pleasantly understated look. An Ibanez hardshell case is included as standard.
