Huge selection of preset sounds and effects

The Korg KROSS 2-61 workstation now features 1,075 different sounds instead of 809. Its new sounds include multi-layer pianos, electric pianos, rich strings and new drum kits that work perfectly with any band. The effects section has also been expanded. It allows the simultaneous use of up to seven effects: five insert effects and two master effects. A total of 134 effect types are available.

Built-in Audio Player / Recorder

With the integrated stereo audio recorder, you can record your performances or add overdubs to an external source such as vocals. Recorded sounds or imported audio files can be assigned to one of the 16 pads for playback using the Pad Audio Play function. You can strike a pad to play back accompaniment for your own live performance or to trigger sound effects.

Step sequencer

The step sequencer allows you to record sequences of up to 64 steps. This enables you to quickly programme your own rhythm patterns or melodic sequences.

USB audio interface

The USB audio interface allows you to connect the Korg KROSS 2 -61 to your Mac or Windows computer for DAW recordings, or to play it with your iPad and iPhone. It is also possible to play the Korg Module app with the KROSS 2 -61. The Editor and Plug-In Editor are also available. These allow you to modify several parameters simultaneously on your computer or use it as a software synthesiser with a DAW.
