MagicFX SMOKEJET

The MAGICFX Smokejet is a compact smoke FX effect generator for indoor use that combines fog output and colored light effects in one device. For the visual staging, 22 x 3-watt LEDs in red, green, blue and amber are available so that powerful, colorfully illuminated jet effects can be created. The device is controlled directly on the device via an integrated LCD control panel and is ready for use after a heat-up time of around 5 minutes. As soon as "Ready To Fog" appears on Display, the Smokejet can be started.

The Smokejet is also versatile when it comes to control: It offers DMX control via 5-pin XLR connections, addressing from 1 to 504 and 9 DMX channels for functions such as fog output, single colors, chase effects, chase speed, master dimmer and strobe. A radio remote control is also included in the scope of delivery. The four buttons on the remote can be used to individually assign fog and LED functions. The radio range is up to 50 meters under optimum conditions, in practice around 10 to 25 meters depending on the environment. Furthermore, the device supports master/slave operation and W-DMX512 for wireless DMX applications.

With its compact dimensions of 345 x 193 x 386 mm and a weight of 11.1 kg dry or 13.6 kg filled, the Smokejet can be easily integrated into a wide variety of setups. The power supply is 230-250 V at 50-60 Hz, the power consumption is 1420 watts. Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 In/Out is used as the connection. Only MAGICFX Smokejet Fluid is used for operation; the fluid consumption is around 2.5 ml per second. Additional functions such as timer mode, LED fade out, run last setting and 2-second jet mode extend the practical range of functions for stage, event and show production.
