The NINO950OR children’s cajon is every bit as good as its larger counterparts

As is typical of Meinl, the craftsmanship is excellent, and only carefully selected materials are used in its manufacture. Both the body and the striking surface are made from birch, giving the cajon a warm and harmoniously deep sound.

The built-in snare head ensures the familiar snappy, snare-like sound. Particular attention has been paid to durability, so that the cajon can easily withstand even rough handling. The rubber feet fitted to the underside of the cajon ensure a secure grip. Measuring 33 centimetres in height and with a base area of 24x24 centimetres, the NINO950 children’s cajon is perfectly tailored to children’s needs. This allows children to playfully explore the world of percussion and drums, whilst specifically developing a feel for rhythm, timing and musicality.
