Novation's Launchkey 25 Mk3 is a neatly designed USB/DAW & MIDI controller that offers space for an arpeggiator, 16 pads, 8 knobs and chord mode in a compact package. The keyboard has an easy to play 25-key keyboard and is built solidly for use on stage, on the road and wherever space is limited. The 16 velocity-sensitive pads are ideal for playing accentuated drums & percussions. The built-in arpeggiator can be used directly via the keyboard with a number of playback patterns. In addition, a chord function is integrated which allows you to play whole chords with just one finger.
Additional equipment
On the rear panel is the sustain pedal input and the MIDI output. This can also be used to play other instruments that do not have their own keyboards. The Arpeggiator can also be activated at this output. The transport function allows you to control global functions of a DAW, such as start/stop and recording, directly from the Novation Launchkey 25 Mk3.
Free Software
The package includes a software bundle consisting of Ableton Live Lite, XLN Addictive Keys, AAS Session Bundle, Spitfire Audio LABS-Expressive Strings, Klevgrand R0Verb and DAW Cassette.
