Flexible Headshell Connection Cables

The Ortofon Standard Lead Wire Set is a high-quality set of connection cables for linking the cartridge to the headshell. The particularly flexible cables feature 28 AWG copper conductors comprising 40 individual wires, thereby enabling flexible and precise cabling at the cartridge.

The balanced design features gold-plated 1.2 mm connectors at both ends. The Ortofon Standard Lead Wire Set thus provides a neatly finished connection for cartridge installation and is ideal as a replacement or for rewiring a headshell.

The pin configuration for Ortofon cartridges is colour-coded and distinguishes between the terminals for the right and left channels, as well as signal and ground. Ortofon recommends connecting the lead wires to the headshell before mounting the cartridge and ensuring they are correctly aligned.
