The PRS SE Special Semi-Hollow has been a reliable and versatile workhorse in the SE lineup for years. With its distinctive semi-hollow construction and versatile pickup configuration, this electric guitar covers an exceptionally wide tonal range. The mahogany body with a resonance chamber and two-piece maple top with curly maple veneer delivers a proven tone with an airy, acoustic character. At the same time, the combination of two 58/15 LT “S” humbucker pickups and a Narrowfield DD “S” middle pickup provides numerous switching options for a wide variety of sounds. Using the two mini-switches, the humbuckers can each be switched to coil-split mode, allowing crisp and clearly defined single-coil tones as well. This makes tonal versatility one of the SE Special Semi-Hollow’s greatest strengths. Naturally, the instrument is equipped exclusively with PRS-designed hardware, including a PRS Patented Tremolo and PRS Designed Tuners. Gig bag included.
