Effective wind protection

The Zoom WSH-1e is a custom-fit fur windscreen for the Zoom H1essential recorder and significantlyreduces wind noise during outdoor recordings. Especially for interviews, field recordings or quick recordings on the go, the signal remains clean and intelligible, even if it gets a bit rough outside.

The dense synthetic fur effectively absorbs air movement without unnaturally coloring the sound. This preserves details and treble while minimizing distracting noise. This is particularly important if you are working with the H1essential's integrated microphone and have no additional shielding.

Installation is straightforward. An elastic strap ensures that the WSH-1e sits securely on the recorder and does not slip even when moving.
