TubeDreamer Overdrive

The JAM Pedals TubeDreamer reinterprets the classic TS-808 overdrive with an analogue circuit tuned for dynamics and transparency. As with its historical predecessor, a JRC4558D chip powers the unit, whilst three diodes provide asymmetric clipping, thereby clearly bringing out dynamic response and individual notes, even when playing distorted chords. In addition to the classic controls for Gain, Tone and Level, the TubeDreamer features an additional high-gain switch that allows you to activate a higher gain setting for more powerful overdrive sounds. This makes the pedal suitable for everything from a subtle boost through classic blues and rock sounds right through to much richer overdrive tones.
