A snow machine creates artificial snow effects independently of weather and temperature. These effects machines are used for theatre and film productions, concerts, shows, Christmas events and winter events.
Instead of real snow, the machine produces lightweight foam flakes that are blown into the air and slowly fall to the ground. This creates a visible snowfall effect suitable for stage sets, event areas and decorative productions.
Depending on the model and settings, the intensity of the effect can be adjusted. This allows anything from gentle snowfall to a denser snow effect. A compatible snow fluid is required for operation.
Snow machines use a special water-based fluid containing a foaming agent. The snow fluid is pumped through the machine and mixed with air to create lightweight foam flakes.
A fan then blows the foam flakes out of the machine. The light flakes disperse through the air and slowly fall, creating the characteristic artificial snow effect.
The intensity of the snowfall depends on the model and available settings, allowing the snow machine to be adapted to different stage, show and event applications.
