The Gretsch Electromatic Premier Jet EB Onyx Storm at a glance
The Gretsch Electromatic Premier Jet EB Onyx Storm draws on the classic Jet design and offers a number of useful modern upgrades. This electric guitar from the Gretsch Electromatic Collection features a Jet mahogany body with a sound chamber and a arched maple top – the classic hallmarks of the Jet. With its mahogany neck in a slim ‘Performance-C’ profile and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with a compound radius rising from 10" to 14", the Premier Jet is also ideally suited to more demanding playing techniques. On the tonal front, however, two Gretsch Sphera Twin Six humbuckers deliver a wide range of sounds, from crisp clean tones through to warm blues crunch and full-bodied rock sounds. Using the push/pull function on the front volume control, the Lumen Filter can be activated when required; this filters out low frequencies, thereby lending the sound additional definition.
