Body & Neck
The mahogany body, in the classic PRS design, features a maple top with an elegant shallow violin carve and attractive striped maple decorative veneer. The characteristic silhouette of the Custom 24, with its wide-cutaway design, allows for comfortable access right up to the highest registers. The laminated maple neck, with its slim ‘Wide Thin’ profile, offers comfortable playability across all 24 frets of the rosewood fingerboard. Typical PRS features, such as the balanced 635 mm scale length and the 10" fingerboard radius —which strikes a balance between classic and modern specifications—round off this tried-and-tested design.
PRS TCI ‘S’ Humbuckers & PRS Hardware
For electrical signal conversion, the PRS SE Custom 24-08 features two PRS TCI ‘S’ humbuckers, whose capacitance and inductance are specifically tuned to the instrument. They deliver balanced clean and overdrive tones with clear articulation and harmonic response. A separate coil-split switch for each pickup allows you to access additional transparent single-coil tones, meaning that, together with the classic 3-way switch, a total of eight different sounds are available. The features are rounded off by a smooth-action PRS-designed tremolo and tuning-stable PRS-designed die-cast tuners.
