The PRS SE Custom 24 Black Gold Sunburst at a glance

It is no coincidence that the PRS SE Custom 24 Black Gold Sunburst is one of the most popular models from Maryland-based guitar maker Paul Reed Smith. The SE version of this 24-fret classic remains true to the traditional PRS design philosophy and features a solid mahogany body with a solid maple top and a fine curly maple veneer, which gives the instrument its distinctive character. Combined with the two PRS SE 85/15 “S” humbucker pickups in the neck and bridge positions, this results in a first-class tone, complemented by clearly defined single-coil sounds via the additional coil-split option. The Custom 24’s classic features also include a vintage-style PRS tremolo secured with six screws and six PRS-designed tuners with iconic wing buttons.
