Classic offset style for versatile sounds
With the Affinity Jaguar LRL Metallic Black, Squier is not only launching an affordable version of the offset classic, but also offers all the advantages and features of its Fender counterpart. The electric guitar not only comes with a Jaguar-typical 24" scale, but also features other details such as a "C" neck profile, a fingerboard radius of 9.5" and two ceramic single coils in the neck and bridge position. The poplar body is complemented by a bolt-on maple neck, while the iconic floating tremolo is of course a must. All these features are largely responsible for the unique Jaguar sound, which was particularly at home in 60s surf rock. The offset electric guitar has been established over the decades in all genres such as new wave, punk rock, grunge, shoegaze and indie rock and has become a true icon since the 1990s at the latest. Alongside the body shape, the crisp, midrange-accentuated sound is the most unique selling point, which means that the Affinity Jaguar LRL can not only be used as a mere vintage guitar, but can also be used in all genres with its unique, crisp sound colour.
Whether vintage or modern: The Squier Affinity Jaguar is suitable for all genres and at the same time conveys the characteristic surf rock sound of the 1960s.
