The Epiphone Casino Coupe Limited Edition Electric Guitar Black is a 6-string electric guitar featuring a hollowbody design made from laminated maple with a mahogany neck, a rosewood fretboard, P90 pickups and an ebony finish. Available for a limited time in Ebony, the Casino Coupe is a compact "coupe"-sized version of the Epiphone Casino, the iconic hollowbody that has been a favourite of tone connoisseurs for over 50 years. The Limited Edition Casino Coupe has all of the Casino trademark features from neck size to tone woods to pickups, but in a smaller "Coupe" size for easy travel.
The body and top are made from 5-layers of laminated maple with a single layer of ivory colour binding on the top and back. The orange soundhole label has the same typeface and design as 60s-era vintage models and the white and black 3-layer pickguard gives the Casino Coupe a classic look. The rosewood fingerboard has pearloid "Parallelogram" inlays, a 24.75" scale, 22 medium jumbo frets, a 1960's SlimTaper profile and a 1.68" nut.
With a full rounded tone, the P90 is the "all purpose" pickup, capable of sharp lead tones, clean rhythm punch, and gritty, easily controllable feedback. Combined with the pure hollowbody of the Coupe, a guitarist can achieve almost acoustic tones at a low volume. Each pickup has individual volume and tone controls with Tom Hat knobs with metal inserts and pointers. The Ltd. Ed.
