The Synthrotek West Coast Noise System is a compact modular synthesizer in Eurorack format. The sound of this system is a mixture of Noise, Drum Synth and Lo-Fi sounds in the style of 8-bit Atari sounds. The Noise Module comes from the MST series of Synthrotek, a current series of premium modules. Synthrotek uses a step sequencer, filter and delay to create the necessary balance in this crazy WCNS ensemble. The modules are accommodated in the practical and portable MST Power Lunch.
In the heart of the Synthrotek West Coast Noise System is the MST Noise / Sample & Hold / Track & Hold, a premium module of the MST series. The module offers white, pink and slow-random noise. The Noise Generator is supported by the Synthrotek Drum Synth Module (DS-M) with analog drum and percussion sounds. But the real highlight are the CV controllable 8-bit Lo-Fi sounds of the Atari Punk Console (APC).
The six-stage step sequencer Sequence 8 gives the arrangement of the Synthrotek WCNS the finishing touches. In combination with the DIRT Filter and Delay Module DLY the Noise System creates chaotic to melodic captivating sounds! Connectivity is further enhanced by a multiple (1U Uni Buffer) and stereo mixer (1U stereo output mixer).
The Synthrotek MST series is currently Synthrotek's premium module line. It consists of various modules for the Eurorack and was developed by Synthrotek in collaboration with synthesizer pioneer George Mattson.
