The DW Performance Snare 14"x6.5" Chrome Shadow offers everything that defines Drum Workshop ’s legendary sound and build quality – without compromise. The shell is constructed from ten plies of high-quality North American Hard Rock maple, utilising DW’s proprietary HVX shell construction. The plies are glued together both horizontally and vertically, resulting in a powerful fundamental sound with extended sustain – ideal for both stage and studio. The elegant Chrome Shadow finish is complemented by the compact, low-mass lugs and high-quality hardware. The Mag Throw-Off System allows for quick, silent release and tensioning of the snare head via a magnetic locking mechanism. The precise True Pitch tuning mechanism ensures fine tuning increments and maximum tuning stability. The snare comes factory-fitted with specially made Remo heads that are perfectly matched to the shell.
