Slim offset body & modern neck

The Fender Player II Mustang Bass PJ RW Hialeah Yellow derives its outstanding ergonomic properties from its particularly comfortable Mustang body with a distinctive offset waist. This is classically made from alder and contributes to the resonant basic character of the instrument. On the other hand, the bolt-on maple neck with its slim modern 'C' profile and satin-finished neck back offers a comfortable thumb rest for the fretting hand and smooth layer changes from headstock to neck foot.

Flexible PJ setup

The PJ setup, consisting of single coil and split coil, offers the best of the tonal realms of jazz Bass and precision Bass and is appreciated by many players for its enormous flexibility. As part of the Fender Player II Mustang Bass PJ, the PJ setup consists of a Player Series Alnico V Jazz Bass single coil at the bridge and a Player Series Alnico V Precision Bass split coil in the middle position, and can skillfully cover everything from clearly resolving single coil sounds to the classic 'Preci growl'.
