The PRS Modern Eagle V Black Gold is undoubtedly one of the premium models in the PRS Core Line-up. First-class tonewoods, versatile electronic features and solid PRS hardware come together here to create a unique instrument. Whilst the mahogany body is finished with a solid maple top featuring a violin-style top carve, the mahogany Pattern neck features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with iconic bird inlays. The rich HSH pickup configuration gives the Modern Eagle V a versatile tone. The two PRS TCI humbuckers deliver warm and full-bodied humbucker tones in the neck and bridge positions, whilst the PRS NS-01 single-coil positioned between them expands the tonal range with crisp, clear single-coil sounds. In addition, the two mini-toggle EQ switches allow you to engage individual low-pass filters, which provide a tighter tonal character. A PRS Patented Gen III tremolo and six PRS Phase III locking machine heads impressively demonstrate that no corners have been cut whatsoever when it comes to the Modern Eagle V’s hardware.
