Odytron is a special edition of the ATMEGATRON and corresponds to the synthesis of a ARP Odyssey digital algorithm, with the difference that the synthesis is realized in a digital algorithm instead of an analog circuit.
Odytron is based on an Atmel 328P processor and is a monophonic 8-bit Synthesizer with an open source software that allows you to freely reprogram the instrument according to your own ideas, i.e. to "hack" it.
Thanks to free software, the Odytron can also be converted into a sample player and an Atmegatron.
The sounds are elicited from the Odytron via MIDI , or directly via hardware trigger button. Simple operation without submenus, via the two central rotary knobs with pushbutton switch.
Parameter selection: left rotary knob, value change of the selected parameter: right rotary knob.
