The Zaor Miza Z Studio Desk Grey/Wenge is a high-quality and super sturdy studio workstation desk. Expertly crafted from fine woods, this stylish desk is ideal for producers and creative’s who want to have everything close at hand; perfect for both home and professional studios.
Zaor have given a lot of thought to the needs of the modern musician, producer, project studio and post production suite and created a platform where the user decides precisely what he needs and where.
The characteristic look of ZAOR with the big Z on the side, the huge drawer which leaves countless possibilities, from master keyboard, to small mixer, controller to the various machines and launch pads that are the tools of the modern DJ/producer will find their home in this huge and solid space, with a roll out system known from the popular MIZA 88 XL and MIZA X.
The main features of the Zaor Miza Z Studio Desk Grey/Wenge include:
This is my first "real" studio desk and I am very happy with it. Ordered in grey/wenge colour, looks great. I've assembled alone but I recommend to do it by two. It is much easier and safer. The packaging is thick and the parts of the desk are well protected in the box, each of them wrapped individually.
The lower drawer for your keyboard is very stable, I keep a Yamaha MOXF8 on it and it doesn't wiggle at all. However I had to unscrew the rubber feet of the MOXF otherwise wouldn't have fit ted under the table so measure the height of your keyboard before order! The cable management system of the desk is also very good, no cables lie on the floor anymore.
Two more things to mention: The desk I got differs a bit from the one on the picture. Although I ordered in grey but the inside panels of the drawer on the two sides are not grey but oak and the cable hole on the backside of the drawer is open on the top, it is cut out which I think is better than a hole.
I wanted a desk that could seamlessly combine work, as a PC/emplty desk, and leisure, as a music workstation. The Zaor MIza Z fufils this role perfectly. With the keyboard tray in the tray and keyboard heights enable cofmortable normal PC/desk use - not to high for keyboard typing and yet space enough for knees toi fit underneath - and then with the keyboard tray out the whole desk is quickly and sinply transformed into a wonderful music workstation. The itself desk is large enough for small synth/groovebox?interface kit to remain accessible whilst still leaving amble sspace for paper/files/etc when in normal desk mode.
Construction is very robust and has a good quality feel. I cannot praise this desk highly enough. It is the centre of my work and leisure activities and it is pleasure to use in both respects.
Very nice desk, easy to put together, on the lager side, which is nice for 2 4U racks and you could clamp speaker stands on the corners, I have desk clamp VESA monitor arm brackets at the back of mine.
The cabling track at the back of the desk is a good size, but the only thing is the 3 cable holes near the desks top 2 corners and middle aren't big enough in my opinion.
