AKG K 702 Reference Class Premium Studio Headphones
The AKG K 702 are the new reference for open-back dynamic AKG headphones. They combine an extremely accurate response with yet unseen agility and spaciousness. This is achieved by using revolutionary flat-wire voice coils and a patented Varimotion™ two-layer diaphragm. A totally open design and a high performance cable complete these reference headphones.
The AKG K702 have a comfortable, specially shaped “3D-form” ear pads and a padded genuine-leather headband ensure a perfect fit. They are individually tested and numbered.
Simple checkout process and speedy delivery. Everyone is different but personally I find these phones comfortable during long periods of use and they exhibit great clarity.
These are a superb price right now. Everyone should have a pair. The cable is detachable, so I chose these over the K701 for that reason. If I ever need to replace, then I can buy another or repair it myself. They feel nice. Light. Comfortable. They sound flat. Less hyped & they will take some getting used to I'm sure. I plan on burning them in for a while anyway, which seems to be recommended. Check that your soundcard can drive them, otherwise you 'may' need a headphone amp. My MOTU looks like it's good enough. Just do some googling before you commit. Cheers
