The AMS Neve RMX16 Series 500 is an exact reissue of the AMS classic and offers the same reverb programmes, including the third-party programmes that originally only found their way onto the unit via an expensive expansion kit. In total, the RMX16 500 thus offers 9 + 9 reverb programmes, all of which have been programmed by the developers by ear, based on musical criteria. This unit is a reproduction of one of the most sought-after reverb processors in studio history; the original is virtually impossible to find on the second-hand market, and if it is, it commands very high prices. Whilst the original was only to be found in large, busy recording studios, smaller recording spaces now also have the opportunity to achieve a professional and appealing reverb result with ease using the AMS Neve RMX16 Series 500.
The RMX16 500 allows you to adjust the parameters Decay, Predelay, Lo and Hi-EQ, Input, Output and Mix. Values can be entered conveniently via a numeric keypad. In addition, the software can be accessed via a USB-C interface. Furthermore, the new version takes up only a fraction of the space required by the original.
