The Black Lion Audio PG-1 Type F MkII supplies up to 8 devices with a filtered and stabilized mains voltage. It can supply up to 10 amps of current (equivalent to 2.3kW of apparent power) and has 3 separate circuits for the domains usually gathered in a studio rack: analogue, digital and high current. This ensures that these different types of equipment do not interfere with each other and can deliver maximum performance at the same time: Audio interfaces and converters are separated from interference voltages from analogue power supplies, analogue vintage equipment from high-frequency line interference from computer technology, and both from your studio monitors and power amps, which like to cause a voltage drop in the mains due to their current requirements.

On the front panel, the Black Lion Audio PG-1 Type F also has two additional unswitched connections, eg. for computer and cell phone, guitar amp or effects pedal, a USB port for a charging cable and a port for a lamp. There are also signal LEDs that warn you of overload, a ground loop or ground interruption, no matter how small, or a reversed polarity Schuko plug. The latter gives you another performance advantage: When swapping the neutral conductor (blue) and Phase (brown/black), many devices have a parasitic current flowing through the protective conductor, which can cause further unwanted interference in your system or trigger the RCD if 35mA is exceeded.
