With the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV Satin Black , the traditional hard'n'heavy company from California is sending a hot-rodded P-bass into the race that knows how to impress with its great playability and powerful bass sounds. The black Finish conceals an alder body in the classic P-bass style, while the graphite-reinforced screw-on neck made of caramelized maple sits comfortably in the hand thanks to the "Slim C" profile with compound fretboard radius. At the bass amplifier, the PJ pickup setup consisting of a DiMarzio Model P split coil in the middle position and a DiMarzio Model J single coil at the bridge provides extremely fat and assertive bass sounds, with a spectrum ranging from a bone-shaking low-mid thrust to a wiry presence tone. The active 3-band tone control of the Charvel San Dimas Bass also allows precise adjustment of the sound. Last but not least, a Charvel HiMass bridge and open-gear tuners complete the Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV Satin Black.
