The Dingwall Combustion naturally comes in modern multiscale construction, the unmistakable feature of the Canadian company. Each string of the 5-string Bass has an optimally tuned length, from 34" (864 mm) for the G to 37" (940 mm) for the low B, so that a precise and tight sound is guaranteed. Furthermore, Dingwall relies on a swamp ash body with a chic cloud maple top, which is perfectly balanced both on the strap and on the thigh, and a bolt-on three-piece maple neck, whose slim medium thin C profile allows every groove to come out of the fingers with ease.
