With a chic natural look, the five-string comes with a resonant swamp ash body and a four-bolt medium thin C maple neck. Individual scale lengths for each string, increasing from 34" for the G to 37" for the B, also guarantee an extremely tight sound with precise tone reproduction even at low tunings. The Dingwall Combustion naturally comes in modern multiscale construction, the unmistakable feature of the Canadian company. Each string of the 5-string Bass has an optimally tuned length, from 34" (864 mm) for the G to 37" (940 mm) for the low B, so that a precise and tight sound is guaranteed. Furthermore, Dingwall relies on a lightweight swamp ash body, which is optimally balanced both on the strap and on the thigh, and a bolt-on three-piece maple neck, whose slim medium thin C profile lets every groove come out of the fingers with ease.

On the bass amplifier, the Combustion 5 3PU MN Natural turns out to be a true all-rounder that is no stranger to any musical genre. The Dingwall FD-3N pickups with neodymium magnets promise smooth bass sounds with just the right amount of aggression. A 4-way rotary switch calls up the three pickups in different combinations, so that the five-string comes up with classic and modern timbres.

The Dingwall Combustion 5 3PU MN Natural bass guitar is rounded off with high-quality hardware perfectly matched to the E-Bass. Accordingly, five Dingwall single bridges on the body guarantee optimum adjustment of the intonation and height of each string. On the compact headstock, the strings are also guided with a straight pull to the Hipshot Ultralite tuners, which not only guarantee a precise and stable Tuning, but also prevent unwanted neck dive thanks to their low weight.
