The Doepfer Dark Time Sequencer, Blue LEDs is a 16 step analogue sequencer with a USB and MIDI interface, making it a very versatile studio choice for integrating with existing analogue gear or software synthesizer.

Featuring 2 rows of 8 steps and a one knob per function interface and has a compact, but un-cluttered layout. The 16 stages have on/off switches, skip, reset, and stop buttons. The Dark Time can also be controlled via the traditional CV/Gate outputs and can also be synced to an external MIDI clock.

The Doepfer Dark Time Sequencer, Blue LEDs features include:

  • 2 rows of 8 knobs
  • Each step includes 1 pot , 1 LED , 1 switch on/off and stop/cont/jump
  • Three operating modes for the sequencer include 1x16, 2x8 (parallel) and 1-8 combi
  • Three running directions of forward, backward and random
  • Three selectable voltage ranges 1V, 2V and 5V (corresponding to 1.2 and 5 octaves)
  • Transpose in each row toggle switches, MIDI or USB
  • MIDI In/Out
