Electro Voice EVERSE8

With the EVERSE 8, Electro Voice presents its first battery-powered loudspeaker. Versatile, easy-to-use and compact, the speaker offers power for musical performance, voice amplification and audio playback. All housed in a rugged, weatherproof enclosure. The EVERSE 8 benefits from ElectroVoice and Dynacord's decades of experience in pro audio and electronics, as well as new technological advances, and truly portable and wireless audio playback.

The battery-powered speaker features a 2-way configuration with an 8-inch woofer. It contains a titanium tweeter with ferrofluid cooling, featuring a high-energy neodymium magnet for maximum power and light weight.

The tweeter is mounted in an Electro-Voice patented SST waveguide design with constant polar pattern that provides exceptionally high SPL with uniform 100° x 100° coverage and improved acoustic alignment and bass extension.

The rugged polypropylene enclosure features a weatherproof cover for the speaker's ports, making the speaker splash-proof to IP43 and easily splash- and rain-proof. The protective cover, available as an accessory, provides additional weather resistance and protection when protection is needed while providing cable connection during operation.

Also, the speaker features QuickSmart DSP from Electro Voice and a built-in 4-channel digital mixer with FX (footswitch controlled), 48V phantom power, feedback suppression and ducking functions. The specially designed battery pack, optimized for audio use, achieves a high runtime of up to 12 hours. The battery pack provides more than enough power for and to complete the show, including a 12V DC accessory port to power the RE3 or R300 wireless microphone systems.

Use the EV QuickSmart Mobile App to adjust all audio, effects and mixing functions from your phone or tablet. An intuitive user interface makes it easy to match the sound to the room, so users can focus on their performance, not hardware. The EVERSE 8 battery-powered speaker is available in both black and white.
