Hollow-Body electric guitar with Hagstrom H-52 pickups
With the Hagstrom '67 Viking II Gloss Black, the Swedish cult company presents an authentic recreation of the legendary hollow-body electric guitar, with which it immortalized itself in the history of rock'n'roll. With a resonance body of five-ply flamed maple laminate and two Hagstrom H-52 mini humbuckers, this electric guitar conjures up the spirit of the sixties and convinces with sparkling clean and overdrive sounds for blues and rock. Thanks to the H-Expander truss rod, the bolt-on maple neck offers an especially flat neck profile with the familiar nimble playability, so that on the Resinator Wood fretboard every riff can be played with ease. Gold-plated hardware in the form of a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a wooden base, a Hagstrom trapeze tailpiece and precise die-cast tuners complete the Hagstrom '67 Viking II Gloss Black.

It’s a full size semi hollow with amazing resonance and sustain BUT with a slim fender- like neck profile. Best of both worlds- not heavy at all, well balanced on a strap. Coil split actually gives different tones. Finish very good and plays great out of the box. For me, far better than similarly priced epiphones (I have had 3) that are very heavy and have a baseball bat for a neck. Negatives? Strap button right behind the neck joint needs to be used with care, but that’s it
