Primarily, Amps by Intellijel is a linear dual VCA with some special features. Individually, each VCA offers volume control via fader, a level booster with 6 or 20dB gain and a CV attenuator with a selector switch for positive or negative control range. Since all inputs and outputs are normalized, the module can also be used as a crossfader, ring modulator and mixer. In addition, several amps Module can be connected to each other at the rear via a daisy chain (cable is included) for more complex applications. The second channel can be used as a ring modulator due to the phase reversal switch. The CV normalization, which can be inverted and shifted, enables a VC crossfader function.
