The Latin Percussion LP201AX-D Classic Durian Bongos Gen II is a set of bongos, featuring 7.25” and 8.625” heads, with a Durian wood construction, black chrome hardware, Comfort Curve rims, and a low gloss finish. Durian wood comes from the Durian fruit tree, which grows throughout the South Pacific Much like Siam Oak, it’s a beautifully-grained hardwood with exceptional sound properties, however Durian wood is 25% lighter in weight than Siam oak. These bongos feature Comfort Curve Rims with plated cast aluminium bottoms, black mirror chrome hardware, and offer crisp slaps and a clear projection.
