Due to its low weight with a favourable centre of gravity, it can be held effortlessly for extended periods of time. Low power consumption and low wind and structure-borne noise sensitivity make it the perfect shotgun for outdoor use. Its natural sound image and low off-axis sound distortion also make it a problem solver for critical recording situations, such as when a soloist needs to be picked up in front of the orchestra.
