The Rode NTG-3B is a lightweight studio shotgun condenser microphone with high-frequency technology and increased directivity via the interference principle. It impresses with robustness, climate stability & moisture resistance, extremely low inherent self and handling noise, high sensitivity and high resistance to interference. Additionally it also features exceptional structure-borne noise suppression, all in broadcast quality for an ultra-reliable performance.

The Interference directional NTG-3B with its HF technology is relatively insensitive to moisture allowing it to be used without any problems in extreme climates. It can even handle recordings in temperatures below freezing; condensation caused by temperature differences does not affect the functionality of the NTG-3. Another notable feature is the sensationally low self-noise (13dBA). The low weight and highly effective self-noise dampening makes the NTG-3 the ideal boom arm microphone.
