Mit dem SH-14 Custom Five bietet Seymour Duncan die von der eigenen Internetcommunity entwickelten Variante des SH-5 Custom bzw. SH-11 Custom Custom.

Einziger Unterschied zu den genannten Tonabnehmern ist hierbei der verwendete Alnico 5 Magnet statt Alnico 2 bzw. Keramik. Dementsprechend bietet der Custom Five im Vergleich etwas weniger Distortion und etwas mehr Vintage-Charakter ohne seine kraftvolle Standfestigkeit zu verlieren. Dank 4-adrigem Anschlusskabel sind Coilsplit-Schaltungen möglich.
