The Comeback Of The Strat-O-Sonic
After its brief run in the early 2000s, the Strat-O-Sonic quickly gained cult status, and Squier is now bringing it back as part of the Paranormal Series, available in Vintage Blonde and Crimson Red. This reimagined Stratocaster features a rugged okoume body with a bolt-on maple neck, offering a fresh, modern take on the classic Fender design.
Alnico Soapbar Pickups
In homage to the original Fender P90s, the Strat-O-Sonic is equipped with two Fender-designed Alnico Soapbar single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge positions. These pickups are adjustable via a 3-way switch, with Volume and Tone controls that include push/pull functionality. A wraparound bridge and Bell-style tuners on the matching black headstock ensure accurate intonation and allow for quick, easy string changes.
A flat 12" radius makes quick movements on the Indian Laurel fingerboard possible, which is supported by the pleasant C-neck profile.
