The Tama MBSS65-CAR Starclassic Performer Snare is a high-quality snare from the Starclassic Performer series, featuring a hybrid shell construction and Evans drumheads. The expertly crafted six-ply shell combines 4 layers of birch with 2 inner layers of maple for a total thickness of 6 mm. This hybrid design blends the sharp projection and attack of birch with the rich, warm tones of maple, delivering a versatile and dynamic sound. The cast hoops and Starclassic lugs focus the snare’s tone, while the proven MCS70 snare strainer allows precise adjustment for responsive performance.
