Portable and robust condenser microphone

The CM-15 from Teenage Engineering is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a super-cardioid polar pattern. It is perfectly suited to capturing both speech and instruments with optimum clarity. The CM-15 features a built-in AD converter offering maximum fidelity and produces a clean and clear sound. Furthermore, the microphone is highly versatile, as it features a gain switch on the rear panel offering three settings to adjust the pre-amplification.

In addition to the standard 48V phantom power, the CM-15 microphone can also be powered via USB-C or via the built-in rechargeable battery (approx. 10 hours’ runtime). Battery operation also includes a power switch, which is used to switch the microphone on in this mode. If the USB-C port is used for power, the operating voltage and audio signal are transmitted via this connection; otherwise, they are transmitted via a mini-XLR cable.
