The TX-6 is arguably the smallest 6-channel stereo mixer with a USB-C audio interface ever produced. Its main area of application lies primarily in the mobile sector, as the TX-6 is equipped with a USB-rechargeable battery offering up to eight hours of operating time. The TX-6 is also ideal for anyone who requires a VERY compact and well-equipped mixer, including an audio interface, for their workflow. This handy device is very well built, which is evident not only from the high-quality AD/DA converters, but also from the aluminium casing and the leather-trimmed rear panel. The configurable control panel layout offers direct access to the six stereo inputs, which feature a range of parameters comparable to that of standard analogue mixers. Each channel is equipped with a gain stage, LED VU metre, 3-band equaliser, compressor and two effects sends. The effects – including reverb, chorus, delay, freeze, tape, filter and distortion – not only cover the essential ‘must-have’ effects but also offer plenty of creative potential. The TX-6’s audio interface sends six stereo tracks via USB-C to any DAW, allowing the recorded tracks to be recorded and edited there.

Thanks to MFi, it can also be connected to iOS devices. If you’re not currently using the TX-6 as a mixer or interface, it can also be used wirelessly as a Bluetooth MIDI controller for numerous applications. Another feature of the TX-6 is its built-in synthesiser with four waveforms and four drum sounds. Thanks to tempo synchronisation, the built-in sequencer always stays in time, allowing you to record your own patterns quickly and precisely. Even mobile DJs have been catered for: in crossfader mode, channel 1 transforms into a crossfader, allowing you to crossfade between inputs 5 and 6.
