TAD is reviving the legendary 6L6 classics from RCA and GE. The GE-style TAD 6L6WGC-STR with particularly fine, mild highs, defined bass and powerful mids; just like the GE tube classics of the 50s and 60s. The complex mids and singing highs are the hit here! The TAD 6L6WGC-STR tubes for guitar amps are the recommendation for classic sounds with warm clean Tone and fat, more midrange-singing sounds in the distortion. With a height of only 80mm (without pins), the TAD 6L6 WGC-STR also replaces the 5881 or 6L6 WGB.

Both the TAD 6L6GC-STR and the TAD 6L6WGC-STR have an exclusive black plate anode coating for the best possible heat dissipation, gold-plated grid wires, double getter, no-noise filaments (no rattling in combo amps) and 1.2mm thick heavy duty glass housing.

Together with the TAD 6L6GC-STR (RCA style), the TAD 6L6WGC-STR is our recommendation for the best sound, especially in classic combo amps à la Fender and maximum service life among the 6L6 GC tube types.
