Z.VEX Instant Lo-Fi Junky Effect Module

The Instant Lo-Fi Junky is the modular version of the guitar pedal of the same name from Z.Vex. The module produces rich, wafting Chorus and Vibrato effects with a slight reverb character that are muted and compressed and sound like an old, worn-out tape. The Instant Lo-Fi Junky can't and doesn't want to sound brilliant. The coloring, slightly diffuse sound in combination with this warm and pulsating effect mix gives every audio signal a certain coziness. The Comp/Lo-Fi parameter controls the strength and tone of the effect, which compresses the signal when turned to the left and adds a Lowpass filter and slightly increases the saturation when turned to the right. Speed and Depth apply to the internal LFO, which modulates the Comp/Lo-Fi control with a selection of three waveforms. An additional control voltage can be patched to Wave-Ext, which is added to the LFO. Instead of a bypass switch, Z.Vex has installed a dry/wet control that can be used to fade continuously between the processed and the original signal.
