The beyerdynamic MM 1 is a high-quality electret condenser measurement microphone with omnidirectional polar pattern and calibrated field-noise transfer factor.

Neutral imaging

Thanks to the slim housing with the offset microphone capsule, the influence on the sound field is very low, so that a pressure buildup at high frequencies is largely avoided. Due to the linear frequency response, neutral imaging is achieved.

Field of application:

The MM 1 microphone was developed for the calibration of ELA and PA systems. In conjunction with a spectrum analyzer, the sound pressure levels of loudspeakers can be monitored in addition to frequency response measurements. The MM 1 provides valuable services for the investigation of sound signals in research, development and industry.
